The Huffington Post published a fantastic article today by  Daniel Tencer, giving us a look at what Toronto house prices will get you across Canada. Tencer states, “Toronto prices have risen so far beyond prices in other cities that if you’re not particularly tied to Toronto, you may want to consider moving elsewhere, where you could buy a similar home for hundreds of thousands less (in effect, winning the lottery), or a much nicer home for the same money”.

For $1,499,000 in Toronto you can get yourself a modest three bed, when you compare this to house prices in other major cities the differences are almost incomprehensible.  Ottawa made the comparison and proves why this is such a fantastic, affordable city to call home.
